Electronic safe locks
Electronic combination locks come after mechanical key and combination locks. Both from the structural and price range perspective these locks are the most complex and most expensive safe locks available. Their relatively high price however includes numerous functions which are not feasible with mechanical solutions and which make the use faster, more convenient and more sophisticated.
Considering the security level of electronic combination safe locks, EN 1300 class A, B and C ratings are the most frequent. Classification depends basically on the structure of the safe lock, on the number of barriers placed inside it plus the functionality and operation of the electronics.
Electronic combination locks may not only differ from their mechanical counterparts, but may do so considerably also from one another. The most important differences - in addition to the security level - appear in user count, authorization possibilities, operating methods and supervision.
With electronic safe locks the factory set code can always be changed. Before use, this always has to be performed.
