About the Wertheim factory
The Austrian company Wertheim Vertriebs GmbH was founded in Vienna in 1852. The aim was to manufacture cash registers protected against fire and burglary. Wertheim, as a royal supplier, with its quality burglary safes soon became a renowned safe supplier of whole Europe and the Middle East.
Today, Wertheim also deals with banking and object protection equipment and manufacturing of components. Its burlagry safes and banking equipment have been pioneers in the European markets since the beginning. Today, many of the Wertheim safes are made in the company's plant in Modra, Slovakia.
